Mechanic

 

Do you have a passion for the classic, the custom, the different and the progressive?

This is an opportunity for you continue your mechanical journey into our world – it’s the best of both classic and late.
Creative Custom Cars are seeking a qualified and/or experienced Mechanic to join our team. We are located in Dromana, on the Mornington Peninsula, and specialise in classic, historic and custom car restorations, servicing, modifications and customisations.

 

The suitable person would hold the following attributes:

  • Experience and/or suitable qualifications in vehicle mechanics and assembly
  • Quality workmanship, and a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in classic/historic/custom cars is desirable, though not essential for this role
  • Strong communication skills
  • A team player, with the ability to work independently
  • A current manual Victorian Driver’s license

We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and conscientious individual to commence with us as a Mechanic.

 

Your role will be often challenging, but very rewarding. You will work with both modern and classic vehicles in a predominately servicing, and mechanical maintenance and repair capacity. Your work week will be four (4) days, 38 hours in total.

Panel Technician/Beater/Fabricator

 

Are you an experienced Panel Technician/Beater/Fabricator?
Are you looking for a better work/life balance, including a four day work week, just minutes from the Dromana and Safety Beaches or Arthurs Seat hinterland?
Would you positively contribute to a friendly and professional, award winning team, in a neat, fully equipped and progressive workshop?

We specialise in all that is classic, historic, vintage, muscle and modified, from servicing and maintenance through to custom modifications and concourse restorations.

The suitable person would hold the following traits:

  • Hold a Panel Beating Trade Qualification
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Outstanding attention to detail with a passion for body repairs and pride in a job well done
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, within a team environment
  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

 

What The Role Entails:

  • Carry out body preparations and repairs on, in particular, classic, historic, modified and high-end vehicles
  • Follow correct procedures and guidelines relating to body repairs
  • OH&S guideline adherence at all times
  • General housekeeping and workshop maintenance.
